the clouds passed by slowly above. copperajah wasn’t moving quick enough to make much of a difference.

bo laid over the elephant’s spine, legs still straddled at the nape. his arm hung leisurely off to the side, fingers wrapped around a coozie-jacketed soda that dangled against rough hide.

scraggy rode up front, at copperajah’s head, with corphish placed in its lap. the navigator.

”if you guys see anything interesting, let me know,” bo yawned.

the scraggy tapped the forehead of the massive elephant and stopped it in its tracks.

”hm?”

bo rolled up to sit around the copperajah’s shoulders, looking lazily down at the archen looking up at them curiously from the ground.

he had an archeops, and although it hadn’t yet served him particularly well in battle, he found it to be a fascinating bird to have around. it was almost reptilian. neato dinosaur.

”go get it, scraggy,” he encouraged.

it gently set down the corphish it was holding, ensuring it wouldn’t fall. then, holding up its pants-skin, scraggy maneuvered, bent at the knees and slid down the copperajah’s nose.

looking to befriend the archen, it waddled over, holding a singular paw out.
